Hope your week is off to a great start! Mine is, I started working again today after 3 weeks of holiday ( I know, I know, lucky me). And am glad to be back !
Today I am linking out with becky at Olives N wine ,because my whole week-end was kind of a treat in my eyes.
This weekend I had friends from Rennes that came to visit me. We walked around town, and it felt great to be a tourist in my own city again. I should remember to do that more often. An easy way to treat yourself !
Saturday we started with the lovely district of montmartre. After a nice stroll, we did some shopping. Montmartre is full of small shops. I stumbled on some very nice bags. Look at the pictures! I treated myself and bought some clothes (it is still sales period after all).

In the evening we treated ourselves and ate at a new to me restaurant, hugo. Well I must say it was a success. Very good, fresh food and at a decent price. Look a these georgous food pictures!

On sunday the weather was not so good. But we wanted to enjoy paris anyway. So off we went to see the eiffel tower :). After a nice walk it started to rain, really badly.So we decided to enjoy the day and go to a little bistrot for a snack

In the evening we watched the worldcup final at my place ! A nice party with all my friends!! And a little too much treating myself with white wine sangria ! A definitely perfect evening.

I found the recipe on pinterest and decided to give it a try. It definitely hit the spot and I will be making this again in the summer. I had peaches that were getting old and I used sparkling peach wine ( one bottle) and mixed it with one bottle of Riesling. The peaches gave a very refreshing taste to this cocktail. You should defintely try it out.
After the worldcup final some of us went to “the bal des pompiers “ a french classical party held each year by the firemen. So much fun, but no pictures taken, I just enjoyed the party.
All in all it was a perfect week-end
