Health goals

Hey people !

Here I am again ! I hope you all had a super weekend :). I went to my inlaws and it was a refreshing and nice weekend. Sadly, I did not take any pictures (oops blogger failure). But that is not important because I have other great stuff to share.

It’s been a while now since I try to write about my goals for the month or the week or whatever. I suppose it has something to do with the fact that if I write them up, I’ll need to be accountable and try to achieve the goals. It is seriously like the 4th time now in two weeks where I try to write this post. But today I am quite OK with sharing it. Firstly, because I am now on holidays for three weeks and I will have the time to commit to these goals. And secondly, because I saw other bloggers who wrote about this in the past week ( I seriously asked myself if those bloggers where able to read my mind^^). Anyway, they gave me the strength to post this up so i’ll share their articles with you guys

– First katies goals

– And Kim’s goals

So without further ado here are my three goals for the week:

1. stop drinking coffee for a week

This, is my number one goal for the week. As I am on holidays, I think it is best to try that out now. I think I am kind of addicted to coffee in a way and I want to try to go coffee free for a week. I don’t think I will go coffee free forever, but I feel the need to detox for a while, just to see how it feels to be “decaffeinated”. To make things easier I am still aloud to drink green tea or tea troughout the day. Let’s see how things go, for the moment I did not drink a coffee today ( but really wanted to) :). I am proud of myself

2. walk 10000 steps a day and do at least 3 workouts this week

Speaks for itself, I like to exercise and thinks it brings me energy . Anyway, I think 3 workouts a week are okay for me if I mix it with a lot of walking and since I am on holidays, let’s try that out.

3. try to eat healthy and when I am hungry

This is kind of an ongoing goal. I am not pushing myself very hard on this, as I think I do eat pretty healthy at the moment. But since I am on holidays I’ll be okay with a little indulgence there and there, it’s just a goal that I’ll keep in mind to not fall of the bandwagon :).

And let’s talk about something that has nothing to do with healthy living but still made me happy last week!

Last week I went on the look for new cushion covers at a reasonable price. I  heard about H&M home a while ago and decided to give it a go. It has opened since april or may now in Paris and people told me that they have home decor at a very cheap price.

And I must say, I was quite surprised. The store is located in a modern area in Paris. For those of you who know Paris a little, it is near bibliothèque françois mitterand. This district was full of warehouses twenty years ago and is now full of modern buildings and a lot of companies install their offices there.

The H&M home is in a normal H&M store where you can also find clothes. The decoration aisle is not so big, which I found better ( less options = less money spent^^). I found a lot of stuff to be very cute, but was a little disapointed that I could not find exactly what I wanted ( I always have a very clear idea of what I want, and I that cas I wanted a chevron cover). Anyway, I went with fun covers with a zebra pattern on it they were at 7,95€ each which was a very good price in my opinion. I found out on my way home, that they have an online shop where you can find more options! Check it out if you need to find cheap home decorations! ( Disclaimer: I was not compensated in any way to write about this, I just thought you should now about it since I found the shop great ;)).

    1. You’re very welcome! Let’s try to get those 10,000 steps this week together, it’s always easier when we are not alone on the journey!

  2. Good luck with the goals!! A fitbit is awesome for keeping track of steps. I adore mine.
